Cabot is one of the fastest growing cities in the state. Lying in the heart of Arkansas, the city is a friendly place with a strong sense of community and family values.  Some 25,000 residents call it home. It is located 20 minutes northeast of Little Rock, the state’s capital, and 8 minutes south of the Little Rock Air Force Base. The city is governed by an elected mayor and city council. 

 

Residents can readily enjoy all the amenities offered by the nearby capital city and can quickly drive home to small-town amenities that include a low crime rate.

 

Cabot continues to grow and prosper.  Its residents loyally shop and dine in the city, doing their part to help keep the hometown economic climate healthy and vibrant.  The city’s population is balanced by longtime residents and eager newcomers looking for a lifestyle that offers exceptional schools, a convenient location, progressive city leadership and a thriving business community.

 

Shopping and dining choices in Cabot are numerous. Specialty shops, hardware stores, chain stores, drug stores, grocery stores and a variety of eating establishments offer citizens and visitors to the city an assortment of shopping and dining experiences.

 

Cabot’s healthcare community features well-equipped clinics and outstanding physicians. Hospitals are conveniently located in nearby neighboring cities.

 

Cabot Parks & Recreation Department offers recreational opportunities for just about everyone and Cabot’s Greystone subdivision is home to two beautiful and challenging semi-private golf courses.  Annual community and family oriented events such as: CabotFest, July Fourth celebration, Strawberry Festival and a Christmas parade draw residents together for festive activities. The City is also home to a multi-screen movie theater, roller rink, a children’s indoor inflatable jump arena, a state of the art bowling alley and a community theater that features live entertainment.

 

Cabot’s outstanding school district, one of the largest in the state, serves the cities of Cabot, Austin and Ward.  The district provides some 10,000 + students with a challenging curriculum.  Cabot schools are known for high academic achievement and top-ranked athletic programs. Community focus on education is a major reason why Cabot’s population steadily grows. Neighborhood schools are located throughout the city.

 

Living is easy in Cabot!  It offers numerous established neighborhoods, as well as new homes being built throughout the city.  Cabot offers a variety of homes to complement any lifestyle --single-family homes, townhomes, apartments, duplexes and garden homes.  It features beautiful subdivisions, rolling hills, available land. Rural landscapes dot the countryside.

 

Minutes away from Little Rock Air Force Base, Cabot has become the hometown for many military men and women and their families.  In fact, after their tour of duty is over many retire and make their home in Cabot.

 

Cabot’s safe and clean environment allows residents to spend more time with family, friends and children.  Friendly Cabot thrives on a strong sense of community and family values.  It is a great hometown.
