The Cabot Parks & Recreation Department is dedicated to promoting a higher quality of life for Cabot citizens.
The staff strives to develop and offer a diverse and ever expanding directory of programs that will provide a variety of life enriching activities that Cabot citizens can enjoy and participate in year-round. Also, the Department is dedicated to maintaining facilities that are safe and accessible to all.
Swim lessons, Dolphin-Laser USA Swim Team, basketball, baseball, softball, football, soccer and wrestling are among the varied sport options available to Cabot youth. The department offers swim lessons, basketball, flag football and co-ed volleyball for the adults.

The center also participates in the nationwide fitness program for senior citizens offered by Silver Sneakers.
The department maintains five public playground parks, outdoor walking trails and a community pond where citizens can enjoy a relaxing day of fishing.

CabotFest is an annual event that Cabot citizens and numerous others look forward to every year. Each year, on the second Saturday of October, the downtown streets of Cabot are filled with over 20,000 attendees enjoying the hometown festival atmosphere. The fun-filled, family oriented festival features arts and crafts, a wide variety of food and entertainment; a carnival, beauty pageant, car and motorcycle shows, bingo, children’s games and numerous other fun-filled activities that will entertain and delight the entire family.
An annual Strawberry festival celebrates the harvest of one of Cabot’s popular crops -- strawberries. The festival features games, a carnival, beauty pageant, home grown produce and much more.
Cabot is home to a state of the art bowling center, 6-plex movie-theater, a dinner theater that features live family friendly entertainment, skating rink and a BMX Bike track that will thrill and challenge even the most experienced bike rider.
If golf is your sport of choice, the two beautiful and challenging semi-private courses within the Greystone subdivision will challenge the talents of the finest golfer. Golfers will be delighted by the tree-lined Zoysia fairways and manicured Bent grass greens at Cypress Creek and the Mini-Verde greens at the picturesque Mountain Springs Course. Both courses are a part of the Arkansas Natural State Golf Trail. Rolling Hills Country Club, located on the cities East side is home to a private 18-hole course.
